THANK YOU

Thank you to all those who have been contributing food/other to the community hub via St Wilfrid's on a Tuesday and Friday from 10am until 12pm.

Please keep it up, the food is being delivered to families and individuals in need.

Your help is very much appreciated.

COMMUNITY RESPONSE

As part of the voluntary community response to the present situation, we are working alongside Pudsey Parish Church (who will be the main hub for the Outer West area).

Calverley Parish Church will be used as a “hyper-local” collection point for items needed at the following times only:
Tuesday 10am - 12pm
Friday 10am - 12pm

You are able to leave food in the porch of St Wilfrid's Church, which will then be processed.

At present there is a need for the following items:
rice, pasta, tinned veg and beans, baby formula, long life fruit juices and women’s sanitary products
Details of further items will be posted here: http://www.facebook.com/pudseycommunityproject

* There are far more offers of volunteers than opportunities at the moment (which indicates the strength of the community response to this present situation).Even as the need escalates, many offers will not be able to be used. This does not mean that your offer of help is not of value, just that the most important role you have now is physical distancing (not social distancing).
Thank you for all your help and encouraging messages - stay safe!
