News and Reviews

Here you will find information and results about events that we have been involved in.

We have positively encouraged many local organisations to "reach out" to the wider community and let people know what they do by changing the way that they advertise their events to the local community.

We know from feedback that we have received that people have noticed a difference to Calverley during the time we have been in existence.

We have been approached by many other areas of Leeds, Bradford, Halifax and London interested in what we do and to seek advice from us.

Local Farmers Market

We held a regular farmers market in Calverley for a number of years and were the first farmers market in Leeds to offer local food and local crafts alongside each other.

Kirkstall and Farsley Farmers Market as well as others in the city of adopted this method of supporting local enterprise.

Supporting Start Up Companies

We offered business support and advice and some of the people we worked with have either set up online web business/market stalls/shop premises in the city. One or two of them are either national or local award winners for retail. .

National Profile

Many community based organisations around the country have asked for our advice/guidance. We continue with this support.

We continue to help this organisation by promoting their events on social media such as Facebook and Twitter.

The sunflower competition is now in its fourth year, but is spreading out across Leeds with people in Bramley, Rodley, Farsley, Guiseley, Pudsey and Kirkstall also getting involved with the competition.
